KB4474419, install MSE problems
KB4474419 for Windows Server 2008 dla Vista make problems type never-ending BSODs on VMWare 17.6.1. On Windows 7 was moment one BSOD after install VMware tools, but started all work after.
On Virtualbox all good.
Me interesting too when you add that KB for Vista for installation too when use legacy update.
And I found interesting bug. In Windows 7 Legacy Update 1.10 don't show to install newest version MSE (4.10.209). Are possible install MSE in versions 4.4 or 4.9 how in Vista. But 4.4 work good for Vista, when we use kb what in topic issue, then definitions are automatically update to him (without problems on Virtualbox).

So I observed, VMware only go in conflicts with Windows Vista/7 made as virtual machine on him. + Interesting fact. Turned off acceleration 3D in Virtualbox, make fix problems like example impossible uninstall Microsoft edge, when that option turned on in VBox or fix some artefacts when it is turned off. But still are others problems. I can't nowhere download windows live essential PL for Vista. Etc. @kirb Will fixes?
@kirb you need add install by Legacy Update:
- windows6.0-kb4019204
- windows6.0-kb4018271 after installation IE 9.0
Then after that all start working windows update in Vista normally with legacy update.
Because windows update was finding infinitely updates without that two updates. After install what i told, magic started come and faster all updates as found.
@kirb so i made one more test again. Installed clean Windows Vista SP2, activated him and installed all components from Legacy Update. Turned updates and was infinite search without results. After install that two KB manually, turned again windows update and finding working. Results: you should add that what i wrote. Sorry but i try help too
