Add indicator for low opacity buttons to help users find them while editing a layout
Developer TODO (don't remove)
- [ ] update documentation
When configuring buttons with opacity and purposefully hidden or nearly hidden text they can become impossible to find on the screen to configure and move. The solution is to always show their default appearance when the large layout button is present in order to see and work with them.
Idea two would be to do this only when long pressing the white configure button as a temporary way to flash the outline so you see where it is. Once removing your finger the outline goes away. This would apply simultaneously to all buttons in the layout.
Yeah, I'm not quite sure how to tackle this because when I'm drawing my layout I also want to see they would actually look like.
I guess add another option in the floating menu to override button appearance. Just need a more consise word 😂
For now, as backup you can always click the settings cog on the trigger and reconfigure the button without having to tap on the invisible one.
I'm thinking that whenever the buttons are in configure mode (i.e. that large white button graphic is showing) all button outlines show by default to allow them to be selected for editing. Once the edits are done they then revert back to their invisible status.
