Auto switch of Key Mapper Keyboard Not Working

Entering text key map doesn't work using Key Mapper keyboard.

Auto switch option also not working. When set you cannot even manually switch back to Gboard.

Which option are you using in particular? Make a screen recording if possible. Do you also have any debug or ci builds of Key Mapper that could be interfering?

The option to automatically switch back to the keyboard you were last using.

The code for auto switching was overhauled and improved in 4.0 so hopefully it fixes this
