I would really like this so that my media buttons appear only when I am driving

How could we detect this, I'm not sure there is some API for this. Perhaps if the Google Maps navigation notification is showing? And then this would be a feature request for constraints that depend on notification content.

I believe Samsung modes could do that and set up another trigger you can look for and use.
