bug(windows): represent current status to the user checking or downloading updates
Describe the bug
From the Configuration, go to Support tab and click to "Check for Updates". Allow Keyman to make change to the hard drive. Now after all these, nothing seems to be happening. After about 1 minutes, the message popped up asking the user to restart to continue the setup.
Expected behavior
There should be something to inform the user that Keyman is still working on the update instead of nothing at all.

This issue has been linked with https://github.com/keymanapp/keyman/issues/8993 to be considered in its updated implementation.
Make sure this is covered with the new online updates
The context for this has slightly changed however, when a user now selects Apply Update Now there will be a pause while it downloads the install. We would need UI that hooks into the
the downloading of the files if a status was required.
Postpone to 19.0 do we want add a progress bar for visual download feedback to user when they choose Apply update now and the download has not occured.
No longer relevant, but a similar issue is this one #13711
