client Reddit verification fails via web and CLI

Reddit verification fails despite following the instructions and the verification post existing. Via web, I get a "failed; retry?" message which isn't very informative. Via CLI, I get an error message telling me that the post can't be found.

I bet reddit is blocking / changed their api access.

Just got notice today my verification failed. Try to revalidate. That failed too. I suspect it is because Reddit has disabled the API using the old.reddit.com url. So someone needs to re-write to the the new style.

So this verification URL works.
