Can't find developer assistant app when entering settings>Assistant to set as "default assistant"

Device : Mi a2 lite (Daisy) OS : Android 10

Edit : I tried to install A google assistant app , just to test if may rom was broken , but then google app was detected

I apologize for the issue, but I can't do much. There are clear instructions to fulfill to build an Assist app and I followed them. The app is discovered correctly as an assist app on other devices, its tested and proven to work by years of operation and hundreds of supported Android devices.

There may be a detail which makes my app incompatible with this particular Xiaomi device, but I would ask this question rather to Xiaomi:/

Did you try to reboot your device? After Developer Assistant has been installed? Maybe then it would appear.
