Tags
A way to add custom tags to our nodes.
Features:
- Creation of tags, assigning names & colors, editing them (how? pop-up editor?)
- A way to add tags to nodes (I think 2 and 3 are the best):
- Handle or menu button (probably not, too complex)
- Typing
+or@in the text box and name of the tag, - Keyboard shortcuts, 0-9. "0" adds/removes tag with id 0, etc.
- A way to add tags to multiple nodes at once
Additional related features:
- Option to display tag names+colors or only colors as tags
- Option to color node background with the tag color if it has only 1 tag and no custom background
- A way to select all nodes with given tags
- A way to show only nodes that have given tags
Tags would improve the clarity of our mindmaps, if someone wants to make some nodes distinct or mark them as special/sort nodes into different categories. Right now it is kinda possible to do that using node colors, but it has downsides, such as no way to edit the color to change it in all related nodes, max 1 per node and lack of flexibility that tags would give.
I think tags would be quite useful!

Yes!
Everything is better with tags, adding custom metadata to nodes will be extremely useful in addition with a way to search for it and / or filter it.
The god old copy format or maybe a copy tags maybe will do the trick I think.
