Feature request: reconnect nodes in various ways
First of all, I'd like to tell you that this is exactly the sort of direction a mind map app needs to be for story development. I'll be using this exclusively for just that, so keep up the good work! Outside of that, I love the smooth graphics and great use of QT to make it a visually pleasant experience.
I do have a small group of feature requests, if this is the right place to do it:
- The ability to disconnect and reconnect arrows by grabbing them from either origin or insertion and dragging them to whichever node you want
- The ability to select a group of [perhaps easier to do with unconnected] nodes and create links in the sequence they were selected
- The ability to group nodes together and allow for the group nodes to be expanded and collapsed (see Blender's node system for inspiration)
That last one is important in order to tidily clean things and wrangle them up for scenes, acts, overlapping story options, and stowing edits to easily move them around and re-sequence them.
Please, let me know if you need more info... and thank you, once again, for making this fantastic mind map app!
Thanks for reporting! I will take these into consideration. Not that simple to implement, though.
The ability to select a group of nodes and connect them implemented in fd674d5df5216c10d9b7e05a02f4d097894d1e66.
As a complement for #128 one now can also disconnect selected nodes as implemented in a0b145906edd83ec07015bdfa8e843e2bf710e1c.
