Credentials prompted when commiting

I had a commit setting an issue as closed during push. When pushed the window for the credentials was displayed with the fields populated. It shouldn't be displayed unless:

  • Somehow it is not set.

  • It fails connecting to the issues.

Could you write reproducible steps?

Right now I can't. My NetBeans git stuff got messed up. I can't no longer push from it after installing some other GUI tools.

I'll try to re-install and reproduce. When it happened it would prompt for the credentials each time I pushed commits that had links to an issue to be updated after push.
