Need more documentation

Current documentation covers only how to install and tells you nothing about how to actually use it.

As for documentation, there's a lot of information online you can find. Here's a playlist on YouTube dedicated to Gmap.NET (they are older videos, but the content is still very useful today). A lot of what I've learned over the years comes from http://www.independent-software.com/gmap-net-beginners-tutorial-maps-markers-polygons-routes-updated-for-vs2015-and-gmap1-7.html - it's a very good series as well.

And, WMS layer? I believe this project is designed to give you the ability to build a map based on any format of map data you wish to use - WMS isn't a singular format (that I am aware of), so you would need to be more specific on what format of data you are trying to parse and add to your map. Generally, you would build the classes based off of the map data you have and create methods to pull that data apart and add markers, lines, polygons etc... to the map where you desire.

For instance, KML format (used by Google Earth) is not directly supported by this project, however, there are other projects that parse KML files and can help you place those elements on the map as defined within the KML file. Some googling around might help you find another project to help facilitate parsing your desired format.
