NiftyPerforce - VisualStudio toolbar lists multiple items twice (greyed out)
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Run NiftyPerforce-1.2.0.msi on a fresh machine
2. Launch VS2005

I expected to see each toolbar button listed once but see it listed twice
instead with one set being greyed out.
>What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
VS2005 SP2
Windows Vista Ultimate 64bit SP2

I had 1.1.0 installed previously and the toolbar was displayed properly. I
tried re-running both installers to ensure prior install was totally
cleaned up before installing the new version but have same result.

The old installers didn't properly clean up the toolbars. IIRC this is fixed
with the
new installers, but I never found a way to automatically clean up the old
busted icons.
You can clean up manually by right-clicking the toolbar and selecting
Customize... then
right-click & Delete the first set of icons in the toolbar. You most likely
will also
want to check the Customize | Toolbars | 'Context Menus' box, then repeat the
procedure
for several of the menus under 'Project and Solution Context Menus'

Perhaps I should just update the FAQ or the docs to include how to remove these
spurious toolbars manually...
