Compared with other rule engine project, this project is with great creativity, but it isn't as popular as its creativity. It is more like a research project not for production environment. Some suggestion

  1. Rule can be dynamic updated. Why not overwrite status on Redis?
  2. Should choose one language as mayor rule language and base on it you event have chance to create some syntactic sugar.
  3. Should strength restful api, other developer has chance make some middleware for you
  4. A detail benchmark with drool is needed.

Hi, I am also interested in a replacement for Drools Sheet. I have found the following options in Python:

  • Experta
  • Pyke
  • durable-rules

All of them seem not to be very well supported, only by one person or aa few people. There isn't a good number of maintainers. So far, durable-rules is the one that I actually got to understand better through documentation. Pyke seems to have a higher learning curve and seems to be much more academic.

I am struggling to find real life examples where those libraries were actually used. Have anyone here applied those in production?
