Can't find directory error

Short description of the problem

Entering :Magit produces the following error:

Open vim in a git repo, type :Magit

Environment

nvim: v0.5.0-nightly-2-g87d892a
git: v2.17.1
vimagit version: bf7b16e99e075b019e56f2fbfb96c493ca3635e2
OS: Ubuntu 18.04.4 LTS x86_64
Terminal: Terminator
Shell: Fish shell

Do you still have issue? It may be related to fish shell, I never tried vimagit with this shell.
