Generate Class schedules for different sections
How would you recommend to generate different class schedules according to the sections in which the same course is taught in the semester . The sections may follow the same course but at different dates. Thank you.
Ahh that is a good question. I never had that use case before (that is, when I have had multiple sections of the same course, they all shared the same schedule) so never thought about it. On top of my head I cannot think of a good solution, let me think about it and get back to you.
Sure... Maybe using different semester org files (Fall-2024_1.org, Fall-2024_2.org, ...) according to the different groups of students following the same course but with different schedules. In a way, there are always some differences between groups of students. Do you think this makes sense, or is there, according to your experience, a better way?
Yes that would be the easiest way for now.
You will have redundancies across files so for example when you make a change on a lecture you will have to edit multiple files, which I try to minimize. Currently I'm not teaching so I don't have a lot of time to work on this but I will think about this use case when I get a chance.
