Running `tcpdump -n port 53` on the host while doing `dig` queries shows that the query is going over the `tun` connection -- shows all the responses from port 53...

Happening again on 23.04 (Ubuntu Mate). Same issues, using `Alt` (in combination with other keys, like control-alt-V). Killing `rofi` (the display agent called by `mate-hub`) solved the issue.
Maybe copy the keyboard layout from the Thinkpad X1 or other machines that people who are already using Linux are probably using.
Please ensure no PWM at low screen brightness!
