Unable to remove entries listed in a file

I try to remove from the hosts file specific entries listed in some hosts template file:

hostman remove --input-file hosts-to-remove.txt

... but nothing happens (literally, hostman says nothing and makes no changes in the hosts file).

It seems to me that it is a bug, but I may be mistaken.
