Recording stops automatically
Hi,
just started using the app (Android, EMUI, 9.1.0, installed through play store).
Both times I tried to use it the recording stopped automatically mid trip. The first day after 5 minutes, the second day after 7 minutes. I was walking on an open field so GPS could not have been lost (and even if it had been ... ).
I've checked all the settings that could be affecting it and set it to manually allow the app to run in the background and not be affected by battery saver. Non of which was needed with the privacy-problematic commercial apps I used before (neither was this problem present - pointing out that there must be a way around it).
Both times the recording stopped completely (not just paused) and when I opened the phone after the walk and opened the app it started connecting to GPS again.
Any idea what it could be?
Huawei have vicious taskkillers for apps they have not whitelisted. Nothing can be done in the app, it may be possible to fix yourself: https://dontkillmyapp.com/huawei
