Browsing via web browser (chrome and IE8) crashes ftpii server

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened this issue 11 years ago • 4 comments

What version of ftpii are you using?
latest (downloaded via Homebrew Channel)

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Start ftpii, mounts ISO9661
2. Try to connect via Internet Explorer 8 ftp://10.0.0.24/

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I should see some folders in IE8 but it shows page not found instead. The
ftpii shows stack trace and core dump (freezes Wii)

Please provide any additional information below.
I'm not sure if this can be reproduced or if it is my Wii only. I have DVDx
and a dvd in the Wii when this happens. Have not tried it without the dvd
yet.

ktdockins, I suggest you use a real FTP client instead of IE8.

As per the above comment, don't try to use a web browser with _any_ FTP server,
they are not designed for connecting to FTP servers (although they allow it)
and are not FTPii specific problems.
