Seeing a handful of outstanding PRs and issues, and that the last tag was pushed over 2 years ago, I'm wondering if this project is still maintained.

This project is definitely still maintained, but some might say it has a very slow pace. 😉

That’s why at JMESPath Community we try and take it where it’s currently left off and try and bring improvements and requests from the community, while still adhering to a proper governance model.
