Facetime/Zoom Stutters

Hi! Is there a way to fix Facetime and Zoom stuttering issues? For Facetime, I can hear the other side clearly but on their side I stutter/break off every other word. For Zoom, I can see people's mouth moving but I don't hear the whole sentence. In other words, both are constantly breaking off. Does it have anything to do with my wifi card? I believe the one i have is the stock. So, would it be better to get a supported wifi card instead?
