groups only can be rotated by dragging the curved arrow

Open rcarmo177 opened this issue 5 years ago • 4 comments

I noticed that the rotation function is not working properly with groups on version v12.9.3. It neither works if you manually set an angle value, press "Rotate shape only by 90º" or using CTRL+R. The only way of getting groups rotated is by dragging it from its curved arrow. For all the internal shapes it works nicely, only for the group it doesn't.

I'm having this issue, can you fix it? How to make this bug happens:

  • Create a blank new project.
  • Draw 2 squares one next to each other.
  • Group them.
  • Press the rotate icon, or from Arrange, Angle and press Rotate shape only by 90°.
  • It will rotate the selection box but not the object...

As a workaround drag the rotation icon, rather than clicking it.

Hi, we know about this workaround, but would be nice to be able to use the buttons. Not in a hurry, but hopefully someday this would be possible, Kind Regards.
