Unit in page settings in inch instead of cm

Hi,

For some reason the unit in the page settings for custom page size is in inch. I tried changing the unit in View > Units > Millimeters. But this has no effect. Changing to a language (German) with metric units does not do the job either. The issue is in the web-version and the desktop version (Mac). I downloaded the current version today.

Hi,

You are right. Custom paper size is shown in inches and changing units won't change it. When you set custom paper size, is it shown correctly in mm? You can use View > Ruler check this

Would it be possible to get a propper dialog to setup the page?

Example:

It should at least be possible to set the unit to centimeters or pixels (in addition to inches).

Currently you can select a preset measured in pixels like 1600 x 900, but you can't define the resolution yourself.

From my point of view this design is illogical and inconvenient.

Very sure. What I meant necessary is a dialogue like this. Or would it be better if the dialogue is easy to reach?

Hi, Yes this is awful. It makes it almost impossible to get a grid that centers on the page. It would be so much better if the page size could be specified in the selected measurement unit.
