Would it be possible to add katex support?

The next version of pandoc will have this, and it could then be easily integrated into gitit.

Hey @jgm, is this Katex-Support still a thing? Gitit gets rather slow for me with a lot of inline math rendered via mathjax.

It probably wouldn't be hard to add it, but it's not a priority for me at the moment.
