despotify Error when searching

I've trouble when searching as below:

Initialized audio output

Searching for: <kawaly>
Error when searching

I've the latest version: 9c20426e1310e9326abd6572a43e5b8fe80b4694

Any suggestions to fix it?

Try: spotify-to-mp3 instead (see also at AskUbuntu).

this relates to grooveshark, which is shut down. so despotify is generally not working any more?

If you use Ubuntu/Linux, you can try "Audio Recorder", which record streams from Spotify (among others) with artists/titles infos. sudo add-apt-repository ppa:osmoma/audio-recorder sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get install audio-recorder
