Please release a new version
Hi! Please release a new numbered version of yaml-cpp.
Dupe of #1335
I second that 😄 I love the library but my company's new policy requires that FOSS components we use have to be maximum year-old. If that wouldn't be too troublesome, could you please make a yearly release? Otherwise we might have to look for another library 😔
Agree, we have no frequent releases... Maybe is it possible to have it more often?
@jbeder What's your official position about releases? "Live at head"? Whatever else? Can we have a releases at least couple times a year?

Maybe you could, at least temporarily, use most recent commit on the "master" and its hash id as version... This is commonly called "live at head".
I am also interested in seeing a new version of this library
There are significant changes since the last release, without which this library fails to build on latest versions of compilers (eg: gcc-15). I would also recommend a new release out of the top of master branch

I agree with that. It is failing on GCC 15.
@jbeder Can you please make a new release and, if possible, ensure it builds smoothly with latest versions of GCC, MSVC and clang?
can we please get a new release?
