Rack-mount building?
Okay I'm going to ask a stupid question, I'm new at this all and been trying to figure it out reading the python script and such...
for the life of me I cant figure out how to build like the patch panel or enclosed boxes? in the rack-mount directory. I'm guessing its something simple...
thank you
edit: got it had to update the default settings in the rackframe with the new width settings, then openscad export the stl...

This is what i have been doing too
That's what I do too! :) The script doesn't support those parts (yet). PRs are welcome!
I'll attempt this when I get home thank you 👍
@jazwa Awesome thank you for all your work on this project its great, its actually helped me learn scad (I didnt know it was a thing).
Since you mention PR's....
Not so much a PR but would be something really awesome is in the picture you can see I made a custom shelf, (made the initial shelf in openscad and imported into tinkercad for the honeycomb) being able to have a option to attach the shelf at the back of the rack just for a bit more support. For me not a major issue since I'm putting an enclosed box right below it.
Also something that would be great would be the ability to use more server standard screws (I think they are M6's) but that might also involve some major reworking on the rails and the rail mounts and thickness such like that.
In case it help anyone, I was able to generate the rack-mount items with openscad --export-format binstl -o entry.stl entry.scad
@jubjubrsx I created a full honeycomb tray, you can see it here https://github.com/jazwa/rackstack/pull/43 hopefully it gets merged to the catalog.
