The covers are deleted when restarting steam

Hello, something very strange is happening to me with Steam sync, and that is that when I manually add covers to the games that I have added with it, when I open and close Steam they are deleted. Someone else happens? I tried manually adding one game and another with uwphook and this cover art thing doesn't happen to me.

Do I understand correctly: you're using steamsync to add shortcuts to steam, but setting the art for them inside Steam.

Are you using --download-art or --download-art-all-shortcuts? If so, steamsync should be skipping downloads for the art you've already set, but paste a steamsync log here to be sure.

Check what's happening to your files:

1. Open the folder <path-to-your-steam-install>\userdata\<your-steam-user-id>\config\grid\
2. Run steam. set your art.
3. Is it adding images in the grid folder? Write down the filenames.
4. Restart steam
5. Look in the grid folder. Are the new art files still there? Check the filenames.
6. Run steamsync again
7. Look in the grid folder. Are the new art files still there? Check the filenames.
