I will consider implementing a fix for this issue. However, the display of hidden folders might be useful in certain cases. It may be beneficial to make this feature optional, controlled by a flag.
I agree that you should show hidden folders by default. But these are special, because they are not present in the static website: if you click on them you see a 404
