deleted all games off homescreen

hi! made an acc because i tried troubleshooting this myself and couldn't figure it out...

I ran tinyformat through my 3ds homebrew launcher and when it turned back on, my system was reset and had me put in info (time, date etc) in again. after that my homescreen was completely wiped except for the built in 3ds apps and my dsiware. luma and gm9 were still built in and worked fine, saved my settings etc.

i tried running a backup i made earlier that day and my apps were still gone.

is this a known error? or just something i'm missing an extra step for? nothing was deleted on my sd card and i'd like to know if I can restore my games + progress in them
