Language Barrier is Bad for New Players

  1. First, if someone else in another family follows you, there is no way to communicate with them via the hierarchy system. Again, this is based on an experience where some Eve Ginger decided to follow me. I couldn't communicate with her verbally, and it made her learning process slower, clumsy, and probably less enjoyable.

  2. I've often traveled to other towns, not as white, to get sulfur, latex, and/or palm oil. Sometimes I encounter new players who don't use PXChat (which makes the game more enjoyable... people have indicated that they miss it on discord when it's been down). I do make paper, but it's just one note, and that's it, as pretty much that's all there's time for. Explaining them how to do things often confuses and befuddles them. No doubt they find it clumsy. Explaining to them that six bowls of palm oil fit in a bucket takes up much of their playtime, as does getting multiple bowls of sulfur from a hot spring... and differentiating between an empty hot spring and a hot spring with sulfur is confusing for them. They've only got 60 minutes to live.

Given that the entire server is rebuilding from scratch together, it follows that everyone should be able to teach each other easily. New players would enjoy the game more if they could communicate with players from other families easily.
