error fetching data from reddit

Recently had this issue happen repeatedly: "guest@reddit:~$ list subreddits error fetching data from reddit:

Same error message shows when I try other subreddits or commands. OCCASIONALLY seems to work: potentially has to do with my poor network connectivity issues, but seems unlikely
