Close the WearOS App when screen times out

Describe the solution you'd like It would be nice if the program would close when the screen times out. Either the regular timeout, or when I place my hand over the dial.

I'll describe how that works on my Galaxy Watch 4:

1. I have an app opened and do not interact with it
2. Display goes black after 15 seconds (default setting)
3. a) If I interact with the watch within 20 seconds (default) the previously opened app appears again or b) if 20 seconds have passed the watch face shows up.

The app remains opened in the background, but what's the point of force-closing it from there?

For me the application stays open for longer even after the screen goes off, maybe a minute (Ticwatch Pro 4G). It would be nice that even when I go back in to the application it does not show the last code I loaded. I use code names to make it a little bit more difficult to use my totp if someone came upon my watch.
