How to enable camera support

Hello, I am using a surface 3 non pro, and I would like to enable the camera support which is included in the kernel but is currently disabled. I am running Ubuntu 16.04.

edit: Ubuntu 17.04, going to update to 18.04

I recently found a new GitHub repository for Linux Support for Surface Laptops where camera support is enabled along with other features.

Here is the link.

Follow the instructions for installation with this one and you are good to go!!
