Next release: Issues related to Spec and associated artifacts

During review for ballot, the following issues remain and should be corrected before the next Security API update release:

  • [ ] References in the specification document should be updated to their current Jakarta EE counterpart specification versions. For example, the following legacy API references should be updated to their current Jakarta EE versions:

    • Authentication 2.0
    • Servlet 5.0
    • CDI 3.0

    The complete reference list appears to be in the Bibliography section of the Spec.

  • [ ] The TCK release notes are obsolete and should be updated for the current Specification version.

  • [ ] The TCK User Guide refers to Eclipse GlassFish 5.1 and should be updated to Eclipse GlassFish 6.0 (or whatever is current when this is updated)
