Fullscreen support in BF4 on Crossfire setup
Hey Jackun,
Does this work full screen? I can only record in windowed mode, once I go fullscreen the video recording gets cut off and says INIT.
I am using 2 MSI R9 290x's and have the October 5 build.
Iv'e tried just about every combination of settings, I am using Catalyst 14.9.1 but I need to run that in order to be able to use DX11 as the other ones are no good on the 290x and Mantle has a memory leak or some sort of slowdowns after a round ends.
I was using raptr but on a 1440p screen when it resized it to 1080p it ruins the detail specially with small text. I found DXTory working great but would like to use the VCE to keep my file sizes down.
Are you going to support Fullscreen crossfire?
Great job by the way.
Only max 1080p is supported. You have to rescale to that.

Ok cool, it does a better job at scaling than raptr.
Only problem I have now is in Adobe Premier Pro CC 2014 when I import them they are just black screen with audio only. Same thing happens if I use your openencodevfw in MSI Afterburner, even MSI's VCE external plug in has the black screens in Premier Pro.
Raptrs VCE recordings show up ok in Premier pro but their scaling effects little things like text, your version scales better.
Do you think there is a possible way to get openencodevfw to show up in Premier pro?
With AVI, it probably also wants VFW H264 decoder too. Try x264vfw. Or remux to MP4 somehow.
See this comment https://github.com/jackun/openencodevfw/issues/7#issuecomment-43430435
Thanks for that info I'll try using xMedia to remux it.
I worked it out, I Copied/remuxed it using Xmedia using MSI afterburner and your openencodevfw encoder. DXtory was giving me a 1 pixel green line on the left side of the video, the MSI AB version doesn't do this.
Thanks for your help!
You say if the uninstaller fails remove these registry keys, I can't find the uininstaller is there one? I need a 1440p recorder back to using lagarith. Thanks for everything keep up the good work.
Well, as usual, you uninstall from Control Panel/Programs and Features. But you don't need to uninstall to use lagarith though.
