[android] switching back to the app on chromeos deletes whatever is in the text entry

using the android app on chromeos works beautifully for the most part, but when you switch from the android app to another window, then back, it will delete whatever was in the text entry previously. this behaviour doesn't happen on android proper just on chrome os with the android app
