Free Music Archive has a ton of CC-licensed music and is mostly bottlenecked on bandwidth, so we could mirror it onto IPFS and use it to outshine conventional streaming services?

Oh yes definitely! <3 Let's move to ipfs/archives where we already work on mirroring other interesting datasets.

It's probably also feasible to put much of the website on IPFS, judging from a quick look. This would entail making much of it static HTML, and JS combined with static index data structures for the remaining dynamic parts (e.g. search).
