slack link is broken

Trying to get to the slack and I found that the link in the README is not working

This link is no longer active

To join this workspace, you’ll need to ask the person who originally invited you for a new link.

slack links are only valid for 30 days, unless we pay... Other than making a new link every month I don't know another approach.

Maybe a GH Action to submit an issue each month to update the slack url?

triggering issue generation monthly would be easy, but is there a way to launch a github action x days after the last slack link update issue was closed? :thinking:
