[Bug]: Application prompts to update multiple times

What happened?

After updating the app, I get another prompt to update which fails if accepted

How to reproduce the bug.

Update the app via the update alert.

I think the reason is that both the host app and the service app were checking for updates. I haven't found a good solution to prevent this yet, but I will look into it at a later time.
