Automatic Configuration of Gateways

The language gateways are the keys to using external languages with IRIS. Packages should have an easy way of describing that a gateway for the package should be created and should have support for starting/stopping the gateway during installation, upgrade, uninstall. The gateway should by default be configured correctly to use the package’s installation directory.
