impossible to install

I can install the extension, but I can"t activate :

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_FUNCTION in /home/anouslam/www/shera/wp-content/plugins/intercom-wordpress-master/bootstrap.php on line 516

I have a wordpress default theme and default install. I use the last extension version.

Any idea ?
