I No longer see a previews of my github url

Are they not working everywhere or in a particular channel? Can you run /github settings and check if you see a unmute button.

Are they urls of private repo? Can you try signing in.

Same issue. I pasted a PR link and the gitub app asked me if I wanted to show a preview. I selected no on accident, I no longer get the option anymore.

I've signed into github, I've added the app to the channel, and checked settings and it's not muted.

These are private repos in the org, previews seem to work for others in other channels though 🤔

However when I check the integration on GIthub it shows that Slack has been installed on 3 accounts you have access to: REDACTED. that lists the orgs that it's on, that the private links are for.

Public links unfurl.

Update: In my case i had to login again.

Same issue here, just trying to set this up. I have checked settings and they are correct, the GitHub app is in the channel, and I have also tried /github signin multiple times. When I paste any GitHub link, no preview. Anyone else have any ideas?

Here's what worked for me. First, I subscribed to the repo from Slack:

/github subscribe my-org/my-repo

I was prompted to install the app on the repository

I followed the steps to install the app on the organization (Note that I'm an org admin on GitHub). Then I unsubscribed from the repo

/github unsubscribe my-org/my-repo

Preview links now work.

Same situation for me. I tried all the alternatives in the previous comments and I still cannot see link previews.

It seems once you select not to show GitHub link previews when prompted for the first time, it is no longer possible to revert this action. Is there no way to reset this choice?
