It would be nice if the parpack tree could be added to this repo. Furthermore, add the necessary files to the build system so that the configure script flag --enable-parpack builds the parallel version of arpack.

I have nearly no experience with PARPACK, nor any way to test it. If you can provide an initial patch, I'd be happy to offer some guidance on how to integrate and make the build system part happen.
