General question about use case

Hello Harmony team,

I have a single cell RNA dataset with samples from 8 different tissues. The trouble I'm having is that some of these tissues were digested enzymatically, and others were not. This makes comparing some tissues difficult because biological signal is mixed with technical signal. I'd like to find a method which removes variation resulting from digestion technique while preserving inherent differnces between the tissues, and was wondering if harmony would be a viable choice over other approaches. Do you think that harmony is an apt tool for this sort of goal, and if not, do you have any suggestions for alternatives?

I think Harmony would be suitable in this setting. You can set group.by.vars to a variable indicating the digestion method.
