Request for License change

I really like the idea of this helpers. The license (GPLv2) is not a very good choice for such programmers helpers as it requires the user to have a compatible license for the entire application. I think a more permissive license (such as BSD, MIT or similar) wouldn't hurt the project and help people to use it?
