Why is the history command not available?

I don't know. I suggest making explainShell crowdsourced, so we can complete the gaps. Additionally, we can teach much better than 'man' pages.

The ubuntu man page has the history manual

From the about page, I'm unsure what sections 1 and 8 are. Perhaps the history command is not in those sections ??
