Cruise mode + MC braking mode +Poshold quad flyaway

Open krellzou opened this issue 3 years ago • 4 comments

Hello, all! INAV 5.0.0 My quad works very well on Althold mode/angle mode/acro mode ,so there was no problem of any Hardware(Parts). And, it works well on Poshold mode,Nav_user_mode=Atti. when I set Nav_user_mode=Crusie, and active the Mc braking mode. it works well at"small sticks" but when "full stick",I mean move right stick to full left, and release it, the quad fly to left automatically, until move the stick to left. so,is it normally? I mean normal behavior of "cruise mode"? Tks!

This has been a known issue over the last few releases. It will not runaway indefinitely. But if you continue using this feature. Only use it in an open area.

One of the developers has been working on the problem.. But its proving to be a very challenging fix.

@b14ckyy This isn't fixed yet. And likely won't be until INAV has MC wind estimation and a predictive means of controlling velocity.

OK probably misunderstood the issue then.
