Slow update/low fps on helloradio

I am using 2.3.0 on a helloradio V16 pro transmitter. I think it is a radiomaster tx16s clone with similar/same processor. I tried it on my drones with both betaflight and ardupilot with elrs rxs and find that the update on my transmitter is very slow, about once every 5to 6 seconds. Is there any setting that can increase the refresh rate or something? I wish to be able to same my drone once the vtx on the drone is down, so a higher fps is much better. Thanks.

2. enable telemetry on drones
