I get error when trying to run example PlayVideo image

Looks like there are no public Invidious instances (that support API access) https://api.invidious.io You might need to setup your own server in this case.

I've released a new version that logs a better exception. If there are no public instances on https://api.invidious.io/, it will still not work, and you need to setup your own Invidious, even for just trying things out.
